Itinerary in Brief
After breakfast, drive up from Joshimath to Tapovan (15 km drive). Visit natural hot water sulphur springs at Tapovan.
From Tapovan, start trekking to Karchhivillage (7 km trek, Approx 5-6 hrs). Along the trail, see magnificent peaks including Nanda Devi (2nd highest peak of Indian Himalayas) Hati-Ghodiparvat, Kamet, Barmal, Trishuli, Dronagiri, Mana Peak, Neelkanta, Bethartoli, Hanuman Peak, Changbang, Kalanka, Nandaghunti, Nandakot, etc. You retire for the day with dinner and overnight stay in a Tea House.
After breakfast, the trek from Karchhivillage to Khulara.
This walk is through the pine and cedar forests. On the way, see the beautiful lake Tali. The area surrounding lake Tali is lush green grazing grasslands for Himalayan sheep and cattle. The astonishing views of mighty Himalayan peaks continue to mesmerize. Dinner and overnight stay in Tent

After breakfast , trek ahead to Kuari Pass
Kuari pass (3736 mts):
Lord Curzon made the trek to Kuari Pass, and since then it has come to know as Curzon’s trail. it is very popular among European and American travellers. In 1905, Lord Curzon reached Kuari pass from Ghat via Ramni. Today many trekkers prefer to undertake the trek in the reverse direction. They climb the ridge above Tapovan and reach Gailgarh, where the trail coming from Gordon meets. One can also reach Kuari Pass from Auli Bugyal through Gordon Top and this is the best idea.
The main attraction of Curzon’s trail is the majestic view of the twin peaks of Nanda Devi, Kamet, Dronagiri, and Hathi-Ghodi Parvat. Along the trek, we’ll pass through pristine Rhododendron, Oak, and Deodar forests. Rare Himalayan Flora and Fauna are found aplenty on the trail. At Tapovan there is a massive sulphur spring. The waters of the spring are said to have excellent medicinal properties.

After breakfast, start the downhill trek from Tugasivillage to Dhak.
You can see natural sulphur springs, Himalayan village, agriculture fields on the way. (6 km trek, approx. 3-4 hrs). Lunch on the trail.
At Dhak, a private vehicle will await your arrival. Drive from Dhak to Joshimath (15 km drive) and return to comforts of Panchvati Inn Joshimath hotel, Joshimath for dinner and overnight stay.
Post early morning breakfast or packed breakfast, check-out and departures. Drop at Joshimath Bus stop in private vehicle. Trip ends.
